About Me

My name is Aaron Anthony Peña. I am currently a Senior eLearning Specialist for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. I have over nine years of experience designing instructional/learning experiences for a variety of learners. In addition, I have created numerous supplemental materials to support the transfer of knowledge including instructional videos, learning manuals, job aids, gamified content, presentations, and high-quality assessments. I am an educational technology enthusiast who is always looking into new technologies and learning theories to stay innovative within my field and the deliverables I produce.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science and in 2023, I also obtained an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Texas State University. I use my education and skills to create learning experiences that garner excitement and motivate learners to perform at their best. One day, I aspire to lead a team of instructional/learning experience designers.
